I'm Mike Walsh, a Special Constable with Thames Valley Police, where I’ve volunteered for 14 years and currently serve as Special Inspector, overseeing Special Sergeants and Constables across three Oxfordshire stations. In my "day job," I am a Citizens in Policing Coordinator, focusing on Employer Supported Policing and Special Constable recruitment. In this session, I’ll be discussing what it's like to volunteer with a police service, the responsibilities and powers involved, and will give you a hands-on look at the uniform, along with answering any questions you may have.
